Home Where Love Grows

Home is not necessarily where you live, not always where you come from. Home is where you feel comfortable, safe, secure and peaceful. Home has everlasting love. My home includes cups with warm drinks of all different kinds to enjoy on cold nights. Lots of hugs from people I love to tell me I matter, I am special. Home is where even if we get in a fight we always reunite. In my home, traditions are shared throughout the year. Home is where secrets are spilled and tears are heavy. In your home, you can express yourself in endless ways! Home is where laughter fills the atmosphere. Home is where the sweet smell of food drifts through the air telling you it’s time to eat with your family. Some people don’t have a house but they have a place they call home. For some people home is just that sense of hope, that light in the dark. Home is where you belong. Some people don’t have a house or a home. Many of those people now do because of Habitat for Humanity’s ongoing mission. Home is that feeling you belong, in a place you love. Home sweet home!
