My Home, a Feeling of Love

For me, home isn’t just a house. It can be as loud as a lion, or as quiet as a mouse. Home will have memories, good and bad. You’ll remember times that are happy, but also sad. The best part of my home is that I always feel warm, like an umbrella, protecting me from the scariest storm. At nighttime, my home may look dark and gloomy, but even in the darkest times, my home does its duty. Homes can look different for everyone. My home is where I grew up, and I’ve loved it since I was young. They may come in different sizes and shapes, it does not matter what other people say, if you feel good, all you need to do is close the drapes. When I’m at my home, I like to shout “Woohoo!”, I hope that it’s the same for you too. Home is where you can always feel loved and accepted, no matter what. Like a Band-Aid, covering up all my cuts. Sometimes, you may feel down, but when you’re in the right place, it’ll feel like you’re wearing a crown. That all being said, I thank you all, and remember, it’s ok to trip and fall. I want to shout out Habitats for Humanity, always helping brighten family's mentality.
