Where I belong

If my home were love, it wouldn’t change. It makes my heart feel loved, comfortable and cared for. Home is a treasured feeling that will be with me forever. Inside, within these walls and cracks, I replay the memories I have with friendly laughter and love. Outside, the soft breeze runs through my hair as I run playfully with my brother and dogs. Within my love of the feeling of having a roof over my head, food on the table to eat and grins on everyone’s faces. It fills my body with the warmth I need. My warmth makes me happy. My food makes me smile. My family makes me feel loved. I am grateful for my roof, my family. Everything I have is good enough for me. Home is somewhere where your heart belongs, that’s why we all deserve a home. As love fills houses into homes.
