Home

Home is a place where you live with your family or a group of loving people. Home is a place where people help you, love you and care about you. A home is not just a house. A home has many things that make you comfortable like pets, comfortable areas, and amazing smells like someone baking cookies, or my personal favourite: air fried bacon. The atmosphere of a home is very cozy and warm. In my home you can see loving parents. You can see my parents helping me with my spelling test practice, feeding me delicious food, and taking me to hockey. In my home you can see dog hair everywhere, which makes me feel safe knowing that my dog is there. My home has soft pillows and warm blankets on my firm bed. My home also has my mom’s candles that smell like burnt lead. Home is, mom baking a delicious cake. Home is my dad playing Fortnite together. Home is my sister and I playing Roblox. Home is my dog, Willow waiting to go outside and chase rocks. Home is my cat, Meow Meow laying on my bed. Home is love and warm feelings. Home isn’t just a building, it’s what you make of it. Habitat for Humanity helps people turn houses into homes. Habitat for Humanity gives the less fortunate a chance to live somewhere with meaning. I am very happy to have a home and people who care about me and love me. I think all kids deserve a home.
