Home: A place for love and memories

Let me ask, have you thought this through, What does Home mean to you? For me, home means my family's talks and laughter on cold nights, or just a walk to fly a kite. Home is tag, a crash or zoom, Home is where warmth fills the room. Home is where I eat chicken and rice, Home is where it’s quiet and nice. Home is that one tile that goes squeak, Or those clothes you wash once a week. Home are things that come from the heart, Home tastes creamy, smooth like a tart. Home is the bittersweet mornings, to the lazy sunset nights . Home is the crackles of our fireplace, Crackle, Crackle, give me some space! Home can even be the dust that greets you in the basement, Or the cobwebs that make you gasp in amazement. Home is the early dawn to plow the snow, Or toasty nights when we take it nice and slow. Home is the sound of my parents snores, Home is where we laugh and roar. Home feels like a ribbon that tied us together, The ribbon can loosen for more family and friends, forever and ever. Home is where challenges grow and belong, Home is where we grow to be strong, Home is where our laughter sings like a song, Home has its own rights and its wrongs. Home is where love fills the air, Home is where memories are shared. Thank you Habitat for Humanity, For creating a great community!
