Meaning of Home

You have probably heard the saying, ‘Home is where the heart is ’ before. But did you know that not everyone in Canada has a house with 4 walls and a roof to call home? There are approximately 235,000 homeless people in Canada. Habitat for Humanity has been providing safe, decent, and economical housing for sale to low-income families since 1984 when Habitat for Humanity was first put on the map with their first volunteer build. Since then, H.F.H. has helped build and improve over 4,300 homes alongside more than 104,000 volunteers. Everyone needs a safe place to come home after a long day out in the busy world. It's a place where all your loved ones are gathered.
