A Place Called Home

To me home is not just the place you sleep, eat, play, or clean. It also means the feeling I get when I see the yellow walls I'll never forget. Home is where I play games and eat a bunch of candy canes! Home is the sinigang and tinola my mom makes for me. Sinigang and tinola are the best things to eat. Home to me is the Filipino traditions I treasure. On every 7th birthday my family takes me somewhere special. Even when we are away, we still feel at home together. Home is wherever we play together and support each other. To me home is not a place it is when I’m with my family. To see their happy faces will always make me feel at home.
