When I Think About Home

When I Think About Home People deserve a home and that is exactly what I have. For me, it is a place where you feel safe, warm, and happy. You should not feel cold, abandoned, and scared. A home is more than the plywood, doors, and windows. The things that make my house a home are my family, friends, cozy things, and photos. Photos fill the walls and fill them with memories that will last forever. Just like a bird, I feel sad when I'm all alone and happy when there are people around me. At your home, it is important to see good things like clean places, kind people, and stuffies or toys. When I go home I smell clean air, the aroma of a flower's scent. I might even smell Mom baking cupcakes or Christmas candles burning. At your home for supper, dinner, and breakfast you want fresh food like strawberries or broccoli. Water is also very important. Water is a way of surviving and it's good to have clean water. At lots of homes there is fresh water for you to drink. At home there are certain things you want to hear like talking/laughing the fire crackling with sparkles and if you have an animal you might hear barking and meowing. Friends and family, pets/animals are very important to. It is always better to have them than to not. Just remember not everybody has a safe and secure home so be grateful for what home you have.
