Three Special Homes: Home - My Home - Habitat Home

Home is where people live in peace and harmony every day and night. Home is where memories are made through the good and bad times. Home is where people spend their time unwinding and playing with friends and family. Home is a special place where people feel love and happiness. My home is where I eat my mom’s buttery seafood broils and my dad’s perfectly cooked chicken which tastes better than any restaurant dish I have ever had. My yard is extraordinarily awesome with a pool that makes summer the best and a pond that becomes the Winter Classic every time I go skating! My home is beautiful but the best part about it is the people I’m surrounded by and the laughter and joy I experience while playing with my friends and family. My home is more than just a house or a location; home is where I live, play, eat, sleep, and breathe. A Habitat home lets kids have the same privileges that I have by getting to say “my home”, “my yard”, and “my bedroom”. Those things go a long way for any kid. A Habitat home lets people live in one place for a long time. If I had to move every couple of years, I would be devastated. I would never be able to make friends. A Habitat home lets a family live in an affordable place so they can keep food on the table well living in a nice home. A Habitat home gives kids a rooted environment that will later let them branch out and thrive as successful people in the world.
