Home is Family

Home means more than just the place to sleep. It means family and home movie nights. It means lying in bed with snacks and food, safety when snuggling with cozy blankets. It means having family, cousins for parties or birthdays. Home means lying on your comfy couch with your family. Home is playing outside, playing soccer in your backyard. Home is where my dog comes to the door and licks me when I come home. It is family greeting me with open arms when I arrive to the door. Home is a sleepover with my friends. It is my dad and I playing video games on the couch. It is summer days with my family sitting outside. Anywhere my family is with me, that is home.
