What is Home?

A home is where your walls of bravery can be let down. Where there is no need to be sad or frown. Love and joy can be spread all around. In your home you are found. Home is peace, love, and joy, There is no need for a shiny new toy. There is nothing that can be above, Spending time with the people you love! Finding joy in your home Is as important as a dog with its bone. Chaos is something I sometimes find, Or peace when I'm reading to get things off my mind. A home is not just four walls and a roof, Or a big fancy castle that just appeared in a poof. It's with people who care, And the love that you share. There might be love, havoc or all of the above. As long as you're with the things that you love. A home is where there’s caring and sharing, A place where people aren’t comparing. Where delicious aromas surround your head, Eliminating all the dread. Watch as all the fears that ever surrounded you, Fly away like a breeze on a summer day! When you finally have that feeling of “home sweet home”. You’ll feel finally known, For it is your own. Thank You Habitat For Humanity for letting everyone get a chance to feel this feeling!
