Home is a beautiful place/Interpretation of home.

Home is a beautiful place. Home is not only a physical place, but also an abode of dreams where I can go deep into my memories. Home is a place where memories dwell. The wheel of life never stops spinning, but my home is where I find rest reading under my father’s desk, where I dream of the wilderness until I almost see the beach that I am reading about and feel the sand under my toes. Home is where I write my stories and read them to my sister by the fireplace until the logs turn to ashes. I know when I grow up and leave home, the door will always be open, whichever way I turn. When I left my old home in Alberta, I felt dejected that we were moving and thought I would forget all my old friends; but I never did because some memories you forget, but the good ones will last a lifetime. In Alberta, everytime I woke up, I saw the beautiful Sun-lit mountains lighting up my face. And when it was warm, the mountains would beam on me with immense heat like a sweater on a cold day. Home isn't just an enclosed space for comfort, but a place for memories yet to come. Thank you, Habitat For Humanity for creating houses that will become homes.
