What I Call Home

Home is a place where everybody should feel like they belong, Home is a wonderful place that could be sung in a song. When you’re with the people you love there’s no better feeling, You never ever feel like leaving. Home isn’t just a place with four walls and a top, It’s so nice to experience, you never want to stop. Home is cozy, like being under the covers so snug, It feels like freshly baked cookies and a very big hug. No matter where I go, I travel, or roam, There truly is no place like home. For me one home is Eretz Israel, A beautiful place, I know it well. Since I’m Jewish I have a whole nation that I can call home, My prayers and my thoughts are directed towards Jerusalem and a special wall of stone. “Home is where the heart is,” that’s what they say, I think about this message every single day. When I’m with my family I can always feel the love, I feel like I’m floating on a cloud way up above. My culture, my story, my world, my place, Home is my paradise, I never want to erase. I’m so lucky to have a home of my own, Habitat for Humanity you make sure no one is ever alone.
