That feeling of Home

When I think about home, I don’t just think about walls and roofs, about ceilings and floors, windows and doors. I think about memories I’ve made, about family and friends, and fun that never ends. Home is a place where you can always be you, and I can always be me, where there is always something amazing to be. You can play outside, or indoors too, or read a book or draw. Be with friends and family, or just be you. No matter what, home is something or something that will be there through and through. When my Oma makes pizza that tastes SO GOOD, or when I play with my friends around the neighborhood. Taking walks with my mom and dad, when I do those things, and more things too, I never feel bad. When I hear my cat meowing, waiting for me to say hi. When I listen to music, there is always happiness like a clear sky. When I’m at my cottage, and me and my cousins wake up in the morning and we go outside there is a feeling that I will always know, through high and low. So, thank you Habitat for Humanity, for giving people that feeling, and giving everyone a wonderful home.
