What My Home Means to Me

My home means to me the love we share as a family. Home is a safe haven and comfort zone. In my home, we celebrate Diwali and learn the meaning of it. Home is a feeling not a place. Home is where we can build memories. Home is where you can laugh, shout, cry and express your feelings. Home is where we feel comfortable, loved, and protected. Home is where we can forget the worries of the world. Home is not just for people, it's for animals like birds, fish, cats, dogs, and more! My home feels loving, kind, protected, calm, and fun. Home feels like somewhere you can be free! Free like the feeling of getting wings and feeling the wind in your hair. Home is where you are surrounded by people you love and who love you. Home feels cozy, creating a feeling of warmth comfort. Home is welcoming, making you feel accepted and snug. Home is the starting place of love, hope, and dreams. Home is the nicest world there is. You can have more than one home. You can carry your roots with you and decide where they grow. When I go home, it's an easy way to be grounded. You learn to realize what truly matters. No matter where you are, your instincts tell you to go home. Your home should tell the story of who you are and be a collection of what you love. Home is somewhere you can shine brightly. Home is important to all but it's not just the home, it's the family we make inside of it. Now it's your turn. What does home mean to you?
