The Meaning of Home

Home to me is a place where my family is. A place that I felt supported and safe. A place where I’m loved by everybody around me and where I'm fully myself. Home is a place where I can be at peace if I wish. Somewhere I am most cozy and where I feel welcomed and the people around me are kind. My cottage is one of my homes. It's a place where my family is. My cottage is a place where I can get away from all the stress and problems. The memories I have there makes me feel safe and trusted. The family adventures we have there makes it feel like home. When visitors come to stay I always like them to feel at home. The first time we bought our cottage the basement was used as storage. The best thing was to bring photos ,games and blankets from downstairs. Another place is my grandparents house. They are so welcoming and warm. When I’m there they cite me down to talk about things in my life that are going on. My grandfather always is teaching me life lessons about being the best person I can be. My grandmother is very organized and kind, the two make up the whole house. Home is very important to me for many reasons. First off, If I'm stressed I can go home to feel supported and safe. If I need company I know I can go home to feel welcomed and cozy. If I did not have places to call home I might feel alone or lost. I'm grateful that I have places to call home when I need to.
