Home to Me

Helps us Grow: Home is a safe place where we can grow and learn. At home you can try new things and have different experiences that you might not have at school or work. When you try those new things or new experiences you might not feel as embarrassed or shy. At home, you might have family or friends with you. If you do, you can share information with them that you might not want to share with others. Lastly, It’s your home! In your home you are free to do what you want! Offers protection: Homes offer protection from the weather, elements and storms. Homes can also offer protection from extreme temperatures so you do not get burned from the sun or get too cold. Finally, homes can protect you from people or other dangers. Home keeps you safe! Makes me ME!: Your home is part of your identity. You can have homes in different places. Your home or your home country can be different than the country you live in. And the country that you live in could be different than the country that you were born in. They're all part of you and your identity. Your home can change, but the thing that stays the same are the people within it! Enjoy Together time: In a home, there are many parts that make it HOME! It's not about the size, the materials or your belongings inside the home. Those things are not important compared to the fact that it is a safe place for your family or friends to create memories and to enjoy being together!
