The Meaning of Home

The meaning of home. Home is about love and family. It's about the memories you make and the things you do that impact other people. The meaning of home is about you having a roof over your head, not about the size or the price. Home is about a loving family inhabiting that home with you. A home is to make memories with loved ones like learning the secret cooking recipe or watching a movie with your family. The meaning of home is a place to grow old. It’s where you celebrate holidays and birthdays. It’s a place to create and celebrate traditions. Examples of traditions include having breakfast before opening Christmas presents or waiting until the next day to eat Halloween candy. No matter where your house is, it is unique and special. It doesn’t matter if you live in a mansion or an old shack, it’s your home and that is the way you like it. A home is a place to cry and a place to smile. It’s a place where you spend time with family and friends. In your house, you can do whatever you want. In your house, you feel safe and secure. It’s where you rest and exercise. In my house, I enjoy doing things with and without my family. If I need space when I’m frustrated or when I need comfort when I’m sad, home is the place to go. Home is a place of reassurance or of helpful tips. Like I play video games by myself. I also like playing board games with my family. Some things like shooting on my hockey net are both. If my dad comes and shoots with me, it’s fun. But if I shoot by myself, I still have fun.
