My Home

Home is not just made of wood and bricks, it's made of memories and love. I am grateful for my home, because I only have one. My home keeps me safe from the wind, rain, and snow. If someone asked me if I think my home is bad, I’d say “no!” My home is like no others, i live there, so does my dad, mom and brothers. At home I receive everything i need, Doing my chores is my expected deed. At home I feel safe, nice and warm. When my mom bakes a cake, everybody swarms. At the end of the day, when I’m lying in my bed, all these happy memories swirl around in my head. But some people don't have homes, like most others do, so with this poem I'm helping change that, and you can too.
