Home To Me

Home is not just where you live, Home is not just compliments and gifts. Home is not just FAME and WEALTH, Home is where you find your TRUE, SPECIAL self. Home is where your family is! But who is family? Will they admit? Family can be your parents, a pet, or a friend. Home is where love never, ever ends. To me, home is like a jacket on a hook. If it ever slips off, it’ll come back as it should With the help of family, teachers, and peers. Home is where wonderful miracles occur! Home can change, home can grow. Home can be something others don’t know. Home is hatred, home is love. Home swoops around me like an overprotective dove. Home can follow you anywhere you go. In the rain, in the wind, in the hail, in the snow. Even in Antarctica, home will still stay warm. Home can be silent, or sound like a farm. Home makes me feel both safe and free. And that is what home means to me! What does home really mean to you? Is it a stuffy? Or a bowl of soup?
