The Meaning of Home

A house has walls, a roof and a floor. A home has love, laughter and more. A home isn't anything you could buy from a store. It's a place with love and laughter galore. Home is where the heart is, you know they say. It's a place of happiness everyday. Home is where you goof around. It’s like the world’s best playground. Home is like a maze. It's a place where you could find your way. Home is a place where the smell of fireworks fills the air. Where the warmth of the fireplace makes home rare. Home is safe from harm and fear. A place with lots of love and cheer. Home is filled with loving smiles. A place where you feel good for miles. You could buy a house but you can't buy a home. A home is somewhere where you are free to roam. Home is like a calming nest. A place welcoming for even a guest. Home means the world to me. Thank you Habitat for Humanity!
