This is Home

A house is different from a home. A home is where there is no unknown. Home is a place where I have a lot of family and friends, Where love and friendship will never end. Home is where we make memories, Where there are no enemies. Home is where you learn your first words, It is a place where there are no concerns. Home is where I walk my dog, Sometimes I even go for a jog. Home is where I go from home to school, It is where I even jump into the pool! Home is where there's happiness and joy, Where my mom makes food that we all enjoy. Home is where we can feel happy and safe, When you try new things, family and friends will have faith. Home is where we can try new things, Then my brother will pretend he has wings. Home is where we can all keep each other warm, If we are together, we will never get lost in a storm. Home is where we might make mistakes, Then maybe be left with one or two scrapes. Home is where we sometimes can try new baking recipes, Where we sing tuneful melodies. Home is where we all laugh and play, Then we will sit down for a movie and eat sorbet. Home is where there's a chain of love, Where no matter how you look, you are enough. That is what a home is.
