Home is a place to belong and a place to keep others warm. a place to be yourself, a place to relax. The place to be protected from the weather even at the toughest times. The house that the young and the old come to and celebrate. A place that holds and makes memories. The place where you can sit down and let all your stress go away. The place I go to when I am down. The place where I am loved by my family. A house is the place to bring on transitions. My house is the place where my mom bakes sweet treats for me and my sister. The place that I run around jumping from chair to chair. My home is the place I belong and home for humanity is giving that gift to others.
