Meaning of Home

Have you ever wondered what home means to you? Well today I'm going to talk about what home means to me. My bedroom is home. My room is naturistic, comfy, and blue. I love It because It's a little home just for me and only me. To begin with, my desk is big, pink, and white. It's super pretty. In my bedroom, I can do my homework, colour, draw and play on my desk which makes me feel calm and happy most of the time. My desk helped me learn and get a good education when I did online school. I was very comfy during the huge pandemic. My second reason is all about my bed. I love my bed because I feel better whenever I'm sad after a rough day at school. My favourite thing to do is taking peaceful naps and cry on my pillow when needed. My bed can sometimes be too big but feels nice to belly-flop onto my big, soft mattress. My final reason is the window in my bedroom because I like looking out and seeing all the birds flying in the air. When I see the carnival come to town I like looking at all the rides and games which makes me feel excited the whole time it's still running. Seeing animals from my window makes me curious about them and where they come from. My room will always be there for me when I come home. I’m very grateful to have a room that makes me feel at home. As Kathleen Norris said, “to me, peace was another name for home.”
