Mrs. Hope’s Story

Mrs. Hope was a widow. She had a very rundown home. Her house was falling apart, and it wasn't safe. She had seven children to take care of and they were super hard to take care of. She barely had a home and was choosing between food or heat. Then Habitat for Humanity came into her life. She gave valuable reasons to have a house and worked hard for it. Three of her sons also worked hard for it. Their names are: Joseph, Philip, and Reuben. She has four daughters and their names are: Mckenzie, Lillie, Katie, and Mary. They loved each other dearly, but it was hard not to fight. Finally, they finished the house and moved into it! Mrs. Hope even found a husband! Now all seven children had a Mom, a Dad, a house, and belongings! The children's ages are: Joseph 11, Philip 11, Reuben 5, Mckenzie 18, Lillie 7, Katie 11, and Mary 1. They also had enough money to buy a Bible, psalm book, and food. The Bible soon got old and the pages are ripping. They all have very comfortable and cozy beds, so they all slept well. They also donated some things to the children's Hospital, like old stuffies, games, puzzles, dolls, and action figures. The children at the Hospital were very happy! The Hope family is healthy and soon it was Mary's birthday! They also had clean water to drink. They had a safe, warm, and cozy house. They are very happy for Habitat for Humanity and later they sent a gift to Habitat for Humanity.
