Home is a Flame

By Weston Tinio Home is a flame, I feel its warmth when I see my family after school it is the feeling of safety. I feel the warmth when I see my dog. It is the feeling of love . My house may be my shelter but without the flame it is a cold rock. When I feel fear it falls over me in a cold rain but with my family I can fight my way through the cold. But like all flames it can burn out. We must keep it burning. Love is the fuel. Home is not a place it is not people, it is the things they do. Big or small, old or young, everyone deserves a home. People are all equal. I believe that the home for humanity is spreading the flame. I know that we all have the ability to help. We just need to try
