What Home Means To Me

If you were to ask what home means and describe home in the five senses, I would say that home means a lot of different things. For me, home is a place where I am comfortable like when I am in bed or on the couch, and I feel very snug and cozy. Home also means a place where I feel protected and a place where I can have fun such as playing board games with my family or with my little brother with his toys. It is a place where I am happy when I read a funny book which is funny or my baby brother saying words he couldn’t before too. It is where my family loves me and I love them. A description of my house in the five senses for smell is when I smell my mom cooking delicious food for my family to eat. If I were to sniff closely, I would be able to smell, I would be able to smell the sweet smell of flowers around my house. Things I see in my house include my family having fun by playing and reading with each other or my family having fun by playing and reading with my little brother. I can also see my family watching people going to different places around the world on TV. I see my bed where I sleep with a blanket on top too. At my house I can hear my baby laughing when he is playing with his toys. I can also hear food bubbling when my mom is cooking. If my baby brother is sleeping and I go near him I can hear him gently snoring I can taste food that can only be cooked at home and the soup that my mom has spent hours on. I can also taste the fruits my dad cuts everyday after school. In my home, I can feel the cozy bed I sleep every night ,and my baby brothers toys when I play with him. I can feel the book as I read it’s interesting and exciting stories I got from my bookshelf. This is what home means to me. Take a moment to think, what does home mean to you?
