What is the Meaning of Home?

What is the meaning of home? Is home a building? Is it a place? Well, if you ask me, it is the people in a family that make up home. Home is not just a structure or shelter to protect you from rain or snow. Home is the people who are always there for you and the people who love you. Your home can be anywhere. Think about it. What would you do without your family or friends? What would you do if they disappeared? You would be lonely. You would feel no shelter, no warmth without your loved ones. Those people, your loved ones, are home everywhere you go. Your house. Is it a home? If you lost your house would that mean you just lost your home? No, if you lost your house, you would just lose a structure or shelter. The real home will always be with you. Your home will always be by your side. Through the coldest nights, through the rain and snow. Home is the people you love. Home is that feeling of warmth that you feel when you are loved by someone. Or when you feel down, and your family helps cheer you up. These are all feelings of home. This is when you know that home is with you. If you feel these feelings, then you should know the people who gave you these feelings are your home. Home means that you have a place to belong, to feel secure, a place to be yourself and be happy. Finally, home means a family. Remember that you have a home wherever you go. And always treasure the people that make your home.
