Home is

A house is a box. There are four (4) walls and one (1) roof. The difference between a house and a home is simple. My home is a place to grow. To stretch. A place where my friends can go. A place where I can go. A place to run and lie down. A place to laugh and shed tears. A place of secrets and truths. These are aspects of *MY* home! A place to eat and meet. My family likes to sit around the table and watch TV together. My friends used to come over all the time so we can just talk or work. My home is the BEST HOME I could ask for, but it is not the house that makes it good. It is the history, the memories, the people and what is yet to come. The meaning of home does not come from a dictionary. It comes from our heart and mind. That is something a robot cannot tell you, the true meaning of home. The feelings that come from it. It is like rowing a boat down a river, you never know what is coming next. You just go where it takes you. My home is ALL these things. What EVERYBODY should have. A home, a family, support, comfort and a community. My home is with my friends and my family. Wherever we are.
