In My Home

I turn the key, open the door, 4 walls, a roof and yet so much more. I walk up the stairs, go straight, for now I am looking for a room to store all my hate. In my home I feel safe while I slumber. For in this home there is so much to remember. In my home I sleep and eat and right here is where all my friends can meet. In my home I’m the only one here all I know is that help is near so for now there is nothing to fear. In my home I feel warm inside, it's quite the thing to bring someone alive. In my home I am not lonely because I have people to keep me company. In my home love is what keeps it together without it, there will be nothing to remember.
