What Home Means to Me

Yesterday my entire school went on a walk to raise money for homelessness, Today I am writing this. I really learned a lot yesterday. It really made me appreciate my home. Home doesn’t have to be the physical house. Home is having people around you who care about you. Home is having proper food and drinking water. Home is having good thoughts. Home is safety. Home is knowing that everything will be okay. People often take these things for granted, not thinking of how important they are. I hope that all people will learn to appreciate having a home. For some, it is hard to even imagine not having a home. Wow! A few days ago I have a completely different idea about homelessness. I am so grateful that this one page will raise ten dollars for someone in my community
