Meaning of Home

A home and a house are two extremely different things. A house is a building where a family or group of friends live. A home is living in a house with a group of people that love, care and appreciate you and each other. Home should be a place where you can express feelings. It should be a place you can yell, sob, laugh, love and be loved. Sometimes people get jealous of other people's houses, but some people don't even have one to go to every night. You can have a small house and a super close family/home (this home you would enjoy) you could have a big house and a family/home that fights a lot and doesn't have a relationship with the people in their family (this home might be hard to live in). I’m not saying that because you have a big house means you don’t have a good relationship with your family. I also have other people in my home that don't live with me like my Aunt, Uncle, Grandma, Grandpa and Cousins. Home is a place where you can ask anything. All homes have rules, some homes have more rules than others. The home with more rules will probably be more thankful for extra things, like a little more screen time than usual or family movie night. Again I’m not saying that if you have less rules then you're not thankful. The family that has more rules will probably have more freedom. So the bottom line today is to be thankful for everything that you have and are allowed. Remember that families/homes are very important. Do you want to have a great relationship with your family? If you are having some troubles with your family maybe talk to them and spend some time together.
