Meaning of Home

The idea of “home” is different to everyone. To me home is a safe place. At my home I have learned to love and be loved. It is sad to think that some people don't even have a home. I am grateful for the home I have and I hope that together we can help the homeless. Its important to help. Home is so much more than what you see. From the outside a home is just a building, but when you go inside there is so much more. A home is where you make memories and those memories change us forever. To me ”Home” is where your family is, where you laugh and have lots of fun. When you come into your home for the first time it might be empty, but you complete it by being happy. I go on walks and see people who are asking for help or for food on the side of the street. I want to help but I don't always know how. When I go home I always think about how hard it must be for them. That's why I'm writing this essay. My family and I like to help by joining a group that walks around downtown and gives the homeless people helpful items. I am happy that each submission will donate to a local habitat that might end up helping someone get their own home. My home is not a big home but it's mine. I wish that everyone could have a great home like the one I am writing in now. Everyone deserves a home .I am going to fight for that. To everyone like me: keep fighting. At least that's what I think.
