My Idea of Home

The meaning of home is different for some people but my home is a safe, loving and caring environment. So I’m going to talk about my home away from home, how my vaulting teammates feel like family and what it's like for people with scary and not safe homes. A home away from home does not have to be where you live with your mom and dad. It can be a friend's house, an aunt and uncle's house and sometimes for some people it's their cottage. My home away from home is my friends house.I love going to my friends house there like my second family. They make me feel like a part of the family. We haven't seen them in a while because my aunt has a whole in her heart that is what my home away from home is. My teammates are like my family so we have so much fun while we have practice. Sometimes one of my teammates' parents gets us Tim Hortons after a practice and a long competition. We love to throw water at each other when we wash the horses down. We hype up each other when we're doing the hard to move and gain up each other's confidence. and sometimes when we fall off we have a big group hug when there was no covid. Some people homes or some people homes that are not safe have good and safe homes. My friends and family have good homes but some people don't. It's sad to think that some people don't have good parents and that they abuse their kids. It's not fair for people that have to go through that. I wish that all people have loving homes. Thank you for reading my idea of home.
