Meaning of Home

Home is a place of joy, wonder and excitement, a place full of love, life and happiness. Times can be tough, times can be rough but deep down we all know it will always be like this. I’ve always wondered if home was just an object or a place we thrive, but it’s not. It’s so much more than just a building. It’s a place to let all your worries roam free away from you, It’s a piece of your life which makes it a piece of you. But home isn’t always the same, it changes to you as you grow. As a young child home is your jungle, your science lab and most important, your home. When you grow you understand the responsibilities of obtaining a home and you lose interest in most activities. You grow and grow but your home will forever be inside you, inside your heart, inside your lungs, you have touched the air of the place you live and you breathe the air as well. You are connected to your home in every way possible. To me home isn’t what it looks like on the outside, it’s what’s on the inside that matters most, just like a person. You could live in a rickety old shed but you’ll have great memories for what’s on the inside. Your house could be a futuristic super expensive 3 story house, but that doesn’t matter, it’s what’s on the inside. A place, a home, a world and a heart full of joy. A person, a creation, a word.
