A home is a not a place, It is more like a space. A space where I am surrounded with love. A love better than any love. A space to make memories, And a space to store them. A space you can run to in the darkest of nights, And a space where you can laugh in the brightest of lights. A space to hold all your secrets, Your siblings’ space to play pirates. A space to hang out with family, And a space to be grumpy or happy. A space that will never be destroyed, Because it is filled with everlasting joy. A space to be you, And a space to be me. So, just to make sure that you understand, A home is so much more than a place, instead, it’s a special space.
