My Home To Me

My home to me is a safe place where I can laugh, cry and smile. My home is a space where I can be who I really am and don't have to pretend to be someone I'm not, and instead of being judged, I am given the confidence to be me and embrace who I am. My home isn't just some brick and cement. It's the bark of my dogs and the meow of my cats. It's my Mum's calming voice. My home is where me and my Mum make dinner together and watch movies! It's the sun that shines through my front window and makes a rainbow in the morning. It's the important things and people inside of my home that makes it a home. It's the pictures on my walls of my family. My home is where me and my loved ones are going to make lifelong memories together. My home is where we can remember loved ones who have passed and cherish every moment with our loved ones that are with us. It's where I am growing up! My home is somewhere I will always be welcomed with open arms. My home is my favourite place to be. I have lived in many places in my life. I've lived in 2 different countries and they are both my home. My home is wherever my family is. That means that my home is Canada. That also means my home is Australia. I feel that what really matters in a home, is a safe, secure and loving environment to grow in together with your loved ones. Every family deserves a home.
