Home

Home to me means love. Love from my family is full at home. And laughter. Laughing makes me and my family very happy, having fun together. Home to me means happiness, too. “Home is where your heart is,” they say, and it’s true. Home is the place where you know you’ll be safe, happy. Where you’re comfortable. Where you can curl up in bed after a relaxing hot shower and read a good book. Then you can fall asleep, warm and cosy. Home to me is where there’s delicious food waiting for you. Where you and your family have wonderful memories and pictures. Where you’ve had all kinds of experiences together. Home is where you and your family play games, where there’s a big, wonderful yard to explore in. Home is where there are trees to climb and forts to make. Where there are loving pets waiting loyally to greet you at the door. Home to me is where you watch a good movie on the couch with your family. It’s where you can cry as hard as you want when you’re sad, and you don’t have to worry about being yourself. Home is… it’s got a feeling inside of it that no other place has. I always say: Home is where you belong. A house is just the building.
