What's the Difference Between a House and a home?

What is the difference between a house and a home? I know that a home is where I feel safe and warm with my mom, my dad, and my sister. To me a house is a structure where someone else lives. Back to homes. A home is where you live and feel comforted and where your family lives. Houses have been built and constructed by house companies and construction workers. You move in and it makes the house now your home. Sometimes you move, if you’ve ever moved you would understand. Sometimes when you move you miss your other house and you still think it's your home, or if you're like the other kind of people who just move on and make the best of the new house. I have only moved twice but I only remember the second move. When I moved, it took me a while to realize that the new house was now my home. Have you ever moved before? You’re helping because someone gets a new home, so construction workers don’t have to build so often. Guess what? Some people sleep in dark allies in a box and have a home but not a house, do you know why? The box is their home because it is where they live alone or with their family. Even though they don’t live in a nice fancy house, it doesn't mean they don’t have a home. It doesn't matter if you have a box as a home, or a fancy home and have a lot of money. It matters that you're safe and healthy. You can help people turn a house into a home by giving barely used items. The most important thing about how a house becomes a home is how it makes you feel. Here is a list of some ways my house feels like a home: · I feel safe. · I feel loved. · I feel comfortable where I'm living. · My home smells good, like when I’m at a cozy cottage. · When I have a bad day, I come home to my mom and dad's arms wrapped around me. I am grateful that my house is also a home and I hope you have a safe home too!
