A Safe Place Called Home

What is home to me? You see, home is the place I feel comforted and safe. I can jump into my bed, cuddle with my family, and get encouragement when I’m sad that everything will be ok, all without having to worry that anything will go wrong. Home is where I can satisfy the needs of my growing thirst and hunger as well as learn healthy eating habits. I am very thankful to have the fresh food my family cooks and enjoys every night, especially on the rough days where I feel upset. I embrace the warm feelings of home when I hear the distant barking of my dog along with the hot sizzling of the barbecue as I relax on the smooth emerald shaded grass, the cool breeze brushing past my face. As you can see, home isn't just a place you sleep or eat, it is a place that holds memories and feelings forever. I am very grateful for everything I have, and I show it by making someone's day better each morning with a warm and welcoming smile. I wish for everyone to get love and support from their family because no one deserves to be left out. I want to be able to provide people who can’t afford a house a safe place to live without having to worry about danger.
