Home

When I think of home I think of things like pets, family, food, and how loud my house normally is. Most of the things that I think about connect to family which makes me think of home. When I am at school all I want to do is go home. Home is special. My house is like an unique zoo. I have three indoor cats, two outdoor cats, two indoor dogs, two outdoor dogs, and an indoor rabbit and guinea pig. For the last six years I have lived in the country with animals everywhere. My pets are practically my life, so it is nice to go home and see them every day after school. Whenever I hear coyotes, I get scared for the outdoor cats and think of the worst-case scenarios that never end up happening. Without my pets, home would be too quiet. My family isn't perfect but their perfect enough for me. My older brother and I never get along, like normal siblings, but when he goes hunting sometimes, I honestly miss him. Without my brother the house would be too quiet and boring. It kind of feels like I have two houses whenever I go to my Babas house. It also feels like I have two different families but in a good way. One thing I really love though is both houses have Wi-Fi and service. I love the food that my baba makes because it is really good. I don’t know why but food reminds me of home even when I'm not close to my house. I'm also Ukrainian so food from Ukraine always reminds me of my Baba and Gidos house especially. Food from Ukraine is really good, and I think everyone who's had perogies would agree. My family is fun, but they get me angry fast, so sometimes it's nice to get away from them, but when I really think about them like when camping, I go back to the camper because they are my family, my life, my home. That’s why home is special.
