The Meaning of Home

Home to me means somewhere I am safe; it’s somewhere I have shelter. When I am at home, I have the love of my family. At home, I have food and I feel like I can have loads of fun! Now that I have said what home means to me, I want to say what I do at home. When I am at home, I can play video games, I can eat my meal in peace and with my family, and I can sleep well. Some people might not have a safe home like us. Since some others might not be able to live like you, you need to be grateful for what you have, and you can go to bed every night without worrying. Some families work so hard every day just to get food for their family every night. If you are lucky enough to have food every day with breakfast, lunch, and dinner you need to be very thankful, say “thank you” to your parents. “What makes a home a home?” To make a home, there needs to be lots of things. Some things like a family to live with, it does not have to be a big home. You have somewhere to sleep and a kitchen big or small, it depends. There are some extra spaces like a living area for a couch and maybe a table. Then you have your playroom with all your toys, but that’s the meaning of home to me.
