Not The House

Not The House I go through the door of an ordinary house. It's old and dirty and ragged. But inside is love and laughter and joy! It’s not the house that makes it a home, but the people inside that reach my soul. The fun, the kindness, the courage, and devotion. The family inside of my home, they love me so, and I know I am never alone. Some houses are larger and more fancy than mine but there is no joy or laughter inside. There is no fun, no kindness, no courage, no devotion, and no family time, so people are often alone. So I open the door of my house every day, and can’t wait for the fun of my home when I play. My mom, my Dad, my brother and sisters, we all love our home and we love it so much, because deep down we know it could never be better.
