What a home means to me

My home is my favorite place to be. It has a lot of comfort. When I'm going to be older, I will really miss this home. Whenever I enter my home, I can't be patient one bit, before I go sit or lay on my couch or on my bed. When that’s done, I love hearing the fire pit cracking like it's the holidays. When I'm tired, I make my way to my room before closing the last light. When I enter my room, I jump on my bed and I take my covers to hop over me. My cat Benji jumps on my bed to sleep with me. I take all of my stuffed animals and I put them all around me, so me and Benji can feel comfortable. When I wake up in the morning, I go down the stairs while holding on to the railing to stay safe. I take a couple little steps, to my way to the living room. I then stop and enjoy the smell of my mom’s cooking. When I eat my breakfast that my mom made, I feel so grateful for having a home, a family and comfort.
