Home is my safe place

The shelter of my home comforts me. I feel safe in my home. It means so much for me. The warmth of my fireplace is nice. It warms my heart. My bed comforts me deeply going to sleep. I wake up and think today is going to be a great day. I go to my kitchen to see my mom making food. I walk over to say good morning. I hug her and she hugs me back. I ask her what she's making. She says we're having scrambled eggs and hashbrowns. We eat it and my sister wakes up and eats with us. Then we play games and talk and laugh. It starts to get late. Then we head to bed. We say goodnight and go to sleep. I'm so lucky to have a safe place to call home.
