Home is a Feeling

Home is a feeling When you look around you see all sorts of houses, some big, some small, some old, some brand new but they are just buildings, home is the people and feelings with in. Home is popcorn and movies with my family, the feeling of laughter and warmness. Home is playing in the sprinkler with my little brother, the feeling of playing and freedom. Home is snuggling up with my mom or amma, the feeling of being loved and appreciated. We could live in a mansion or we could live in a one bedroom apartment and no matter where we are I am home because I am with my family and they are my home. Home is memories, both good and bad. When my little brother started walking and how cute it was! or when I fell down the stairs and broke my ankle. The bad memories are home because my family helped me and took care of me. They loved and supported me making me feel safe, showing me it’s ok to hurt because they are my home and will protect me from the bad. Home is love and family, safety and security. Home can be anywhere you are because you carry it with you in your heart where your family always is. 😊
