A True Home

A House is made of wood and beams A Home is made of love and dreams When you're feeling down, like you just can’t do it today, And you see your frown, Just go home and it’ll be ok. Because when your home You’ll smile either way, And when you’re home You will laugh and play. It doesn’t matter where you are As long as it makes you a shining star. And you cherish family Through every night and everyday. Because a home is more than a roof and four walls It’s love in abundance and help when you fall. Home never disappears It will be yours for years and years It doesn’t matter if you shed tears, Home never goes away It is with you every day Home doesn’t have to be a big house, It could be as small as a mouse It could even be a street with witch you roam, As long as it feels like home And as long as it is where you love and are loved, And where you go in tough times And where you live your best lives. This is what a true home is to me, made of love and dreams, not just wood and beams.
