What Home Means To Me

What Home Means To Me H is for home. A place where I can feel safe and loved. I know my family loves me and no one else above. When they're not around I don't feel in the right place. I like to see them and look them in the face. My room is my own space and it’s decorated in my own taste. My dresser on the left and my bed on the right, When I go to sleep I like to be tucked in nice and tight. My desk is underneath with my bed on the right, I keep my electronics safe so they are out of sight. Home is where I like to be but I love my room and it gives me privacy. My room is part of my home you see and that's what home means to me. O is for Ohanna which means family. In the Hawaian culture it's how they call their own family tree. My family is very special, each day and each night and when we do something together my heart fills with delight. I think they might agree with me to help people in need and we try to do good and do good deeds. My home is filled with lots of love but it doesn't mean there may be a little push or a shove. They all love me and I know we don’t always get along but when we work together we do it with a song. They all would help me if I needed help and if the roles were reversed they would know how I felt. We always play family games and have a blast and my mom always says you're growing up too fast. When you look at my family you might say it's very big. If you count my cousins, uncles and grandparents my own family is just a twig. My family tree is huge but tight. We live close together and we hardly ever fight. I can't count just my house as my home you see, we all love each other and that’s what home means to me. M is for Mother. She hugs me everyday, same with my dad but he always likes to play. They teach me all the things I need and lead me on a path but sometimes when I need extra help my nana helps me with math. My mom has a great style and also a great smile, she’s an interior designer and can pick out some great tile. She tries to keep our home in order which can be hard to do. She likes to sit and relax when the day is through. My mom makes my house a home. I know she is there. I'm never alone. E is for everyone that lives here on earth. Our planet is our home you see since the time of its birth. We need to take care of it just like it is our own child. If we don’t it will be a big garbage pile. We need to work together and all get along if we try our best we can’t get it wrong. No matter what our gender is or the colour of our skin when we get together we have a chance to win. So let's take care of our earth and everyone inside it, it is my home forever and the solar system beside it.
