What Home Means to Me

To me a home is something everyone should have, to be alone, to rest, to stay warm, safe, and free to do what you want. Everyone's home is customized to their likes and what makes them happy, in my home I feel safe and as if it were my sanctuary. In my home I asked my family what home means to them, my dad said, “Home is where you keep all the important things in your life,” my mom said, “Home is a place where I feel comfortable to be myself and feel loved,” my brother said “Home is a place I can do what I want, it is comfortable and is where I relax,” they are all correct and are all saying the same thing that home is special, home is where you find love and comfort so everyone should have a home. Every home is special, some are big some are small they could be blue, white, green and any colour you could think of some are all the colours, maybe when you walk inside you feel warm and toasty and as you walk into another it feels fresh and cool. A home supplies shelter as to shield you from the cold season’s snow or the spring rainfall. When I come home from a rainy day or chilly winter, I like to hop into my cozy bed that is found inside my wonderful house, everyone deserves that feeling of joy, happiness, comfort, and love. And this is what home means to me.
