What is a Home?

A home is not a thing you see, a home is a thing you feel. It’s not just walls and a roof, it’s the thing that brings you and your family together. It’s a warm place where you can feel loved and cared for. A home doesn't have to be a house, it can be anything you want it to be. You can live on the road and be happy…. There is no right or wrong place to call home. But what about people who don’t have anything? The people who live on the streets or in homeless shelters? Does their home live in their memories and their hearts or maybe the corner on the street where they occasionally get smiles and kind words from strangers feels like home to them sometimes, too. To me the home is love, family, warmth, security, freedom.
